Loreena Mckennitt and Shakespeare!

Loreena Mckennitt and Shakespeare together!!!! This is too good to be true! :)

Loreena Mckennitt took Prospero's speech, from The Tempest, and set it to music. I have not read the Tempest, but I am know the basic story line. I love the words, and the music. How could you not love the words, it is Shakespeare!

I know I have some Shakespeare loving followers, so I hope you enjoy!
Pleas tell me what you think?

Love and Blessings

  1. Ooooh, I don't have speakers at the office, but I am looking forward to hearing this tonight.

Shakespeare in the Park in Seattle is doing "The Tempest" this summer, perhaps you'd like to come along with us and see it?

  2. Oooh Sounds like fun! I am going to be reading the "The Tempest" next year for school. So that would fit in perfectly. :)

  3. The Tempest was my major project for directing class in college. I don't remember exactly what I did except that I modernized it and set it in Manhattan. Something about businesses... I think directing class was more difficult than any of my lit classes when it came to analyzing characters and themes!
